Well mr bob I was in your city (Kilkenny) last Saturday and the place was Jointed with the Rod Stewart concert patrons.

I was looking for a bar to get a drink and a bite of grub and watch the Irish v S Africa rugby game and had some job with the crowds.

Eventually went in to bar and decided I would stay here and First thing I did was go to use their toilet !!1 I then came out of toilet

got a seat and ordered a drink and a meal and had a 2nd drink as well ended up paying the barman over £40 at the end. Now my point

is if I had been stopped using their toilet I would not have stayed and as a previous poster stated he often uses a toilet before he would order

in a bar and I could have been doing the same on that day as it was around lunchtime. I can see why a pub would want you to purchase something

as that is why they open their doors but I also think stopping someone from having a pee is a bit mean .

Ok so I was in the City yesterday to meet an Escort and parked up on the mall and went to get a parking disc.

After doing this I felt like a pee so walked in to a well known city bar and proceeded to climb stairs to get to toilets.

Half way up this guy comes running up stairs and stopped in front of me and just looked at me as if to say you cant

come up here. I said I need to use the toilets and he says sorry Customers only. I says are you for fucking real and was

told sorry Bar policy so I had to turn around and walk out of bar with a few customers staring at me like I had 2 heads.

Looking at the paper today I seen a traveller gets £1000 off a cork bar for being refused a drink and it put me thinking

Would I have a case?? After all it is a public house.

there are plenty establishments getting like that now, customers only
