So... today after the referendum I have had 2 time wasters, a last minute cancellation and another guy asking me for my postcode.

I'm really feeling the love for the English today. Coincidence or people having a pop?

I'm taking the rest of the day off, my tolerance levels have hit no return.

We're both in the North Mike. Normally I see my regs, especially the last few months as I've had a lot of crap to deal with this year. I decided to let go of my security blanket today and answer all calls. It's not been a good experience.

You don't get to be my age without having worked in other jobs before. I've only done this for 6 years of my life and I'm in my 40's. The fact is, this is higher than normal and it's a piss take.

Because of those idiots alot of girls chose not to respond to messages. Most girls ive met told me that they dont bother with txts or PMs because of this.
Sometimes when im in the office txt or pm is my only option to see if a lady is available at a particular time.but unless im txting a regular theres no point.its very rare that it works. I feel your frustrating kate.

I call someone a time waster when they phone me and make a booking and then don't turn up. Please also note that these were all new clients, so called 30 mins before booking. The one that cancelled was also new and rang 30 minutes before the booking time and called it off 15 mins before we were due to meet. He maybe genuine and I would give him one more chance, but since I had already been mucked about it contributed to my frustration. I was only able to work until 6pm today due to other commitments, so I just couldn't let myself get further frustrated or it may have had an impact on what I was going to do later.

Tomorrow I'm only free till 4.30pm, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out. Maybe I would be better off declaring it a day off, we will see how I feel in the morning

I can only try to imagine how annoying it must be to take a booking, get ready and wait and then the guy doesn't turn up. Meanwhile you miss out on the opportunity to do something else like go outside if the weather is nice or go shopping etc. or indeed take a booking from another caller. There is no easy solution to this problem either. I remember meeting one escort a number of years ago who was touring in a new town and she told me she had ten "no shows" the day before, her first day there. I was the first client who actually turned up!

I know us lads complain about the "Double Booking" phenomenon where the escort takes two booking for the same time as an "insurance policy" to increase the chances of someone turning up.

However, annoying as this may be for us guys who turn up at the correct time and place only to find that the escort doesn't answer our check in calls, timewasters have to be much worse for the ladies.

As I say I cannot think of an easy solution. Maybe if the ladies spread the phone numbers of the timewasters around? .. and the numbers of clients who always turn up too? That way we might all do better. Less timewasters for the ladies and less double bookings for the lads?
