Joe you could be my twin brother in this regard.
I too find that I last a lot longer, and my sexual performance is increased when I have a few on board and also find I have more confidence and lack of inhibitions.
I can sometimes suffer a little prematurely and alcohol somewhat slows that down and helps me to enjoy the occasion a lot more and everybody ends up happy.

Wouldn't normally have a drink as I would meet the girls in the middle of the working day.
On the few ocassions I have had a drink It was with the lady or once I was told to go for a drink, while she got ready. Timekeeping was not her thing, despite owning more watches than shoes

Bad breath and being disrespectful to the lady is one thing. There's also the matter of driving drunk to meet an escort. Now I know you've stated multiple times this is ok but I'm not sure if the laws agree with you. But really the law is beside the point, this is a huge safety issue.

What a horrible situation it would be if you drunkenly ran over a child while you're on your way to see an escort.

What do you find the effects of alcohol to be on your sexual performance? I was under the impression that it would reduce sexual performance but for me there is the opposite effect; maybe it's just because my own bar is very low to begin with (premature ejaculator etc.)
