As someone who has been working with photoshop and Lightroom now for some time I can see when a photo has been tampered with and find it quite astonishing sometimes when you guys can't see it and rave about the photo's. I'm not pointing the finger at any photo's in particular and to be honest, it's more likely to be the photographer getting over zealous than the fault of the sex worker, but I can't work out why on one hand you guys encourage it and on the other complain about it. What's the score?

I've had a play with a couple of old photo's that I've used in the past, that were untouched and edited them to show you the before and after. I have blurred my face on the originals otherwise no other alterations. (brave or stupid I'm not sure lol).

So... tell me when I take photo's in the future. Should I photoshop them like I have here or keep closer to the truth?

My opinion is that photoshopping to remove 'distinguishing' marks for reasons of discretion is acceptable. I wouldn't opt for photoshopping that made me look like a supermodel, as I'm not a supermodel, so why mislead guys with photos that bear only a passing resemblance to me?

No one would expect anyone to point the finger and point out where the obvious changes have been made, but does that mean that you have to add to the post so there are 5 or 6 pages long of appreciation for the images? Do some of you do that knowing that they are not representative and are you doing it to gain favour or because you are trying to help the person or out of sarcasm?

I mean you guys have no right to complain is really the point. How can you complain when actively encouraging it? It really does give everyone full reign to do whatever they want and why should they care if it bothers you or not when in my eyes it makes you much worse.

Mind you having said all that it seems that the majority here don't actually read either, so it's a lost cause.

I assume most people can tell the difference Kate but clients are stuck in a catch 22 imo.

When there are "Xxx has new pictures, wow" threads posted, if the pics are photoshopped, even just a little, we can hardly say anything negative and comment on the fact that some photographers make girls look like cartoons with freaky looking features and impossible waistlines. (There seems to be one studio in particular that does a complete horror job on photoshopping ive noticed).

I personally prefer natural pics with minimal photoshop and the selfie type pic, more accurate representation.

Also, those overly photoshopped pics i refer to, they actually turn me off, because in alot of cases, they warp the girls features and imo make her less attractive than she actually is, which is a shame.

the imaginary girl like in a magazine is for wanking to/enjoying looking at, the escorts ad is for BOOKING HER in real life and should be a real life representation of her.
