sorry if I am commenting on where I don't have much experience as I do not see escorts and my involvement does not help, but...
just wanted to share, that in my private life I have realised a long time ago, that there is a lot to do with the head.
If the head / heart is not into it, I could be repulsed by the idea of an intercourse for years. (seriously, years).

Thanks for sharing. Yes, there's a lot in the mind, and in a womans case, even more in the hormones which of course are controlled by the mind. but not necessarily in the head. We joke here about the little brain and maybe there's something to it.
I've long believed, and medicine is starting to realise that much of our thinking happens below our heads. If this thinking is correct, then our gut is actually our largest brain and we really do have gut feelings and instincts.
But getting back to the problem in hand. Yes, I am aware that a virile female can be repulsed by the idea of intercourse for years, but if I understand correctly, this is usually total chastity other than the occasional sympathy fuck. However, a virile man that's off vaginal sex, still has to do what a man has to do.
On the other hand, there was a 10 year period in my life when I was only interested in intimacy with one person and there was quite a lota vagina. Jeepers, now I realise what a number she did on me. Anyone got the number of a good sexual therapist? And maybe a regular therapist too?

Maybe someday science will figure out what makes us all tick. for the meantime we will just have to muddle along
