    I am from Cork. I think we Irish have terrible accents. It is made worse by our general nervousness as a people. I don't like middle class English accents either - something smug about a well-spoken person from the south of England; just grates on me.

    Well you should be saying that about Cork (in your opinion) not generalising Irish accents.
    I'm from Dublin and most of my clients say i have no accent.... it's a very neutral accent.
    When you're raised by a teacher i suppose that happens.
    I do agree that the horsey horsey south london accent is awful.... but that's not ireland thank fook!!!

    I love the cork accent btw xx
