paws doesn,t have to defend himself, rather, since hes been mentioned in 3 post he should have the right to reply, and on topic. and since its a topic so dear to his heart, he would no doubt make comment on it anyway, so why not this thread? surely we have the civility to go to the extra bother of going to the soap-opera?

If paws doesn't have to defend himself then why move the thread??????

And if he didn't have to defend himself then the only reason to move the thread was to allow him to comment on a topic that is dear to his heart...........Well I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned you give up the right to comment on topics that are dear to your heart by being confined to soap land as punishment for breaking the rules............. Otherwise what's the point?????

Should we have the civility to go to the extra bother of going to the soap-opera????
To be honest it doesn't really bother me, the journey is not that arduous for me.... but those of us who have the freedom to post in other sections of the forum had the "civility" to abide by the rules....................

basically as a moderator i moved the thread because if a thread is about or involves a maggot then they have the right of reply in soap-opera, thats my opinion.

    comments welcome
Well folks it was my thread that was moved.
Of course I considered where it should go re Bigpaws.
But in the end I decided it wasnt a Soap Opera thread, so why post it there?
Of course Paws should be able to reply. And that is the real problem.
With proper modding, NO ONE should be only confined to one section and using the Soap section for this is wrong.
If someone doesnt behave themselves, and ignore warnings, they should be banned.
    Not put somewhere else!

    i decided it was a soap-opera thread.

    1. current e-i policy - threads about modding go to soap-opera

    2. threads that cast up any of the "gates" dolly-qphgate, pawsgate or lizgate go to soap-opera

    and the final decider

    3. paws is mentioned 3 times as to why he shouldn,t be a mod.

the fact is we do have a maggot category for someone that misbehaves because banning is not a perfect solution because banned people can rejoin under an assumed name and ip. thats the way thing are.

And people who are maggots can't????????? They're just to honest I guess....

But thanks for the clarification on the other points, if that is current E-I policy, then you were quite correct...........

When i was Little girl, I painted Easter Eggs for my Easter basket, and they were so fucking pretty, that I didnt want to eat them or throw them away, so I stuck them in a kitchen drawer and then went off to play with my Barbie dolls for several weeks.
Mother started smelling something quite putrid, and she scrubbed and scrubbed and looked everywhere, as she thought maybe a mouse had gone and died somewhere in the kitchen. She found nothing. Poor poor mother she looked everywhere and couldnt find the cause of all the smell.

Then one day she opened up that particuliar drawer that we called "the junk drawer" since it held bits and bobs like rubber bands, paper clips, thumb tacks, clothes pins.....

And there! There were those Easter Eggs, all yokey and maggots were oozing out and having the biggest maggot party you could ever imagine!!

So my answer to your question, based on experience.... is...

Maggots are happiest when they live in a rotten egg in a cuboard.
