O'Neill has to take some amount of the blame for the equaliser, for 20 minutes after we scored we were getting overrun down our right handside, Swedish fullback must have put in 5 or 6 dangerous crosses McCarthy gave no protection to Coleman , O'Neill had to see that and didn't do anything to prevent it until the goal had come down that side.

Dead right, their left back had the freedom of the park, we need to focus on the positives and move on, Ireland did a lot better than what most of us would have imagined.

Belguim were really poor,some good players but under achieving just like in the World Cup 2014. De Brunye was crap just like he was in Europe for Man City. Always like the Italians but this isnt a classic Italian team

The think I enjoyed the most was Wes..aged 34 by far our best Irish player in his generation and it took this long for him to be seen on the world stage

I got the score right and would have being delighted with the draw before the game. I felt a little bit robbed, but Ireland played their hearts out with the exception of Macarthy. Hoolahan and Hendricks were world class and as good as we have seen in this tournament.
A point is a point, and we can take the momentum from that performance into the next game against Belguim, which looked shocking and very unorganised last night. We're probably going to have to do it without Walters, which will be a massive loss.
