It's just a question....... I'm not having a go at Pats bodyguard or Paws but I fail to see the point in maggotting somebody and confining them to soap land as punishment for something and then just moving things in there to facilitate them!!!!

I thought the punishment of being confined to soap land was that they couldn't comment on things elsewhere on the board........

I understand if the thread is about them or if they're being attacked in a thread, then maybe they should be allowed to defend themselves, and I say maybe because in my opinion you forfeit many of your rights if you break the rules and are confined to soap land.... Is this not the point of it????

I think you raise a very good point, but I am also sure my bodyguard was only trying to be helpful. When I get back I will be looking at the maggots thing, and we'll better define what a maggot is and how they should be handled, as I haven't really done that yet, but I probably should ASAP to avoid confusions like this.

Should mods be applying the same rules to other mods, that they apply to us mere mortals (For example swearing)

I wasn't having a go at the actions of PBG, in fairness to him I'm sure he moved it for a good reason in his opinion, and again, in fairness he did state that reason.

I don't see it as much of an issue, it's just something that has to be given guide lines.....

Well we'll have to wait and see, but personally I think QPH can moderate bigpaws and others fairly. QPH is an intelligent, thoughtful human being, who cares a lot about justice. And I really I don't think he has become a mod to get a quick one over on bigpaws, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, only time will tell!

You are sending out a message that although you want the rules enforced, you are prepared to dish out Mod status to those who are the BIGGEST offenders!

That's your view and of course you are entitled to it. I don't personally think QPH has ever been the big rule breaker around here, so I don't have this issue with him.
