Not to worry.
A few years back we sent an act called Dervish.
All we got was 5 points given to us by Albania.
By pure chance I think they sounded like an Albanian folk act.
Probably 40 countries now and they nearly all sing in English .
And similar countries tend to vote for their neighbours, so no surprises really.

Back in the ninties they were worried about the cost of winning it too often.
Now the Irish noses are out of joint that they don't win anymore(those into it anyway)
