Cop What a difference a decade makes - Reviews

Been away from the Irish escort scene for about 10 years and am amazed at what I see on my return.

What is this utter nonsense about escorts not allowing reviews? It's madness! No other service provider has the ability to prevent reviews, and I sure as hell wouldn't go near a restaurant that tried to stop them - never mind an escort. EI should not even provide a facility for an escort to request no reviews. The decision to review or not is the client's alone, not the escort's. It's clear exactly how much this site serves the interests of clients (who provide them with no direct revenue) as against the interests of escorts from whom it directly derives its income. It entirely misses the point that the entire industry is ultimately financed by the clients, and that the no review option damages the industry as a whole, whilst a completely open, unavoidable review platform would only negatively impact a few individual escorts but enhance the industry as a whole.

Also, I can accept that reviews are moderated, but editing is just not on. If a submitted review contains offensive language or anything else that's unacceptable, it should simply be returned to the reviewer with the offending sections highlighted. There is now a review on the site under my name with a wording in it that I did not use - it's not terribly different - I just preferred my own words - after all, the review is supposed to reflect my opinion of the service - not EI's sanitised escort oriented version of it.

Worse still was the bit they removed totally. I mentioned something that didn't bother me at all, but that I felt might bother some clients and it was fair that they should be aware of it. EI just deleted it - again presumably due to a pro escort biased censorship. It was quite simply the fact that a few doors down the road was a coffee shop, open till 10pm every night, where the Gardai seemed to congregate on their coffee breaks.
