Congratulations Katie , you are a hero
Unbelievable battle , boxing pundits say it was one of the greatest fights ever, surviving 5th round was unreal
    Split decision victory

    Quite emotional this morning
I do now feel Katie has to go down as our Greatest Sportstar Ever
Rematch in Croke park on the cards
That would be brilliant for Katie, ladies boxing and Ireland

I'd have a few years on Katie, but I know her a little bit as we are from roughly the same area...I know lads that played schoolboy football against her. She is an all round great sportswoman...she could have played ladies football at the very top now that it's getting bigger, but of course boxing is her passion and I think she's made the right decision haha!

This girl is sick! The ambition, drive, heart and passion she has is incredible...an absolute warrior. She looked dead on her feet in that fight, but she just battles on. For all her technical ability she does get involved in some tear ups! She was a legend for her amateur career, but her move to the professional ranks has really cemented her status as a true icon. Young girls should look up to Katie...not to the Kardashian clan or Miley Cyrus! Watch Katie getting battered and finding that something from deep inside to find a way to reach her dreams! An inspiration.

I still think she should retire, but I know she won't. Fair play to Eddie for wanting to get the re-match in Ireland...he knows how to play the game. Croke Park? I'll be there I hope!

Great effort from Serrano...that's both sisters done. Jake Paul is a tool...I don't realise that prat was now into promoting. Seems these pricks will always find a way to make money.

I caught fairly decent highlights. I only realised the fight was on from here the other night (I'm getting most of my news these days from E.I.). I could have watched it live in my sister's, but it's a twenty minute drive and I couldn't be bothered...I regret it now. She has it recorded though. Some ferocious action in the fight... Katie took some punishment in the fifth. It seemed a very tight fight to call with some saying a draw, but Katie had a strong finish and we know in boxing how important the final round can be. Serrano took the defeat graciously so let's just say a great win for Katie...great stuff.

I seen it this morning, there was about a minute in 5th round, I don’t know how she survived, she got caught in Serranos corner,
The 10th round won it for her

Elizabeth Carabajal is an unknown quantity
She has a fine record of 19 wins and 0 defeats, Katie should be ok , but you never know
