I stand to be corrected on this but I think that while self promotion from escorts is not allowed in the General Forum, E-I turn a blind eye to touring dates included in escorts signatures.

No ei do not turn a blind eye to touring dates in our signatures, we are not allowed to do this. 'Smiley Sarah' last year kept removing my up & coming tour dates from my signature, she told me I was not allowed to have tour dates anywhere on my profile that I had not paid for.

Even if the main profile is inactive, the link to the reviews is still showing, if there are any reviews. Plus the girl can have pics in her forum albums.
Plus, as Sandy says, some escorts can be known enough on the forums to get a few bookings just out of a non advertising advert.
But really, it's mostly used to inform future availability when the main advert is inactive.
