I haven't read the thread nor have I followed the case in detail but I get the feeling that many 15 year old girls out there are sexual predators rather than the other way around - thank God I have never encountered any - but base my view on Brithish tv news and drama!!
Beyond the sensational headlines there's not one direct quote source or fact in that piece. Journalistic standards are at an all time low.
"The schoolgirl victim of disgraced footballer Adam Johnson is expected to sue him for up to £1million, it emerged last night.
Lawyers representing the girl and her parents are reportedly considering the claim for a chunk of his £15million fortune..."
That's as close as it gets to any reporting. That much "news" could have been generated by two of the paper's journalists talking to each other over a cup of coffee.
I'm not saying it won't happen though but the tabloid press are scum.
