Namche Bazaar might be a bit cold for naked photo,s but then again maybe not
Kala Patar would deff freeze the cockles off one

I,ve been to Napal 4 time,s and a fabulous place to visit
The Annapurna Circuit is a must to do as well, do the long route as it,s more fullfilling

Yes the last time I was there
Have photo,s of me on top with Everest in the background
We went to there first and then treked for a days across the glaciers over the pass and on to base camp Everest
A very hard trek but so fullfilling
You need to be fit and ready for hardship

I'm doing it the other way around : Everest to First Camp , then down to trudge to Gokyo .

I'm going Solo . Did you have support team or group ? x

Yes a group of 16 of us and a support team.
Hire a guide and a porter to help carry your gear ,, reasons
    1. you will struggle so you will need help
    2. your on holiday so help lighten the load
    3. by hiring people you are helping the locals and god knows they are poor

If you need need help no problem

    Lol

I've been there before , done IT before .

I went Solo , I go Solo now

I carry my own gear x

Only pussies rely on porters and guides xxx

By being on the trek you're already contributing to their livelihood : food , shelter etc .

Plus pick up a couple of Charities on the way (Charitable Organizations : they have the know-how , have the

infrastructure to give help where most needed . That said , my civvi background will prob come in handy .

Thank you for the good advice --- 16 of ye , you say lol ?? That's a veritable Full Size Expedition !! X

(Ps. AND a Support Team lol ?? Were you out for a stroll in the park so lol x)

That,s why we call it holidays
The way your going is easier than the way we did it
That route is no walk in the park , it,s the hardest walk I,ve ever done there

When we go there we feel by hiring guides/porter then the money goe,s to the people on the ground
I am very suspect of charities tbh and don,t like giving to them any more.
When we go we bring as much clothes as possible and it,s given to the porters who give it to their families

Ya 16 of us who all know each other from walking the hills here.
At night then we would play cards with each other and some of the guides ,, good craic

was just playing with you x

(I think you guys call it slagging ? Obviously I must've done it wrong xx)

So in your opinion going up Everest and then crossing over to Gokyo is easier than the other way around ? Why x

If it is so , then I shall go the way you did -- I like challenges .

Grand you had the 16 to be with -- solo occasionally can get mmmm not boring , but serene ...

And , traveling Solo you are always meeting new people : I still have ppl from my last trip that I'm in touch with .

I find when I travel with friends we just end up spending time only with each other x but each to their own .

Now , would you please tell me about Gpkyo - EBC being more difficult than from Everest TO Gokyo ?

    How come ??! X

    Dress smartly anyway.

Get directions for the lift and go to it with no eye contact, like you belong.

If you are stopped, you're doing a job interview for her. People do business in hotel rooms all the time.
    Mmmm-hmm
