I used to actually pick spuds when I was about 11-14.

Usually they're not supposed to have young people working... for reasons of "child labour". But they still allow stupid farm jobs like that, the worst ones of all, classical hard labour.

Not only that, but we were paid far less than the minimum wage. Not only that, but the adults that worked were paid wayyyy more than we were for picking the exact same amount.

How retarded is that? Blatant child exploitation. The most I ever earned was a little over 20 pounds (worth a bit more back then, maybe about the minimum wage for breaking my back in the hot sun) and that was from working most of the day. What a joookkeee... I'm still pissed off about it. Of course I'd have FAR rathered to service some dirty old man for 15 minutes. We are all slaves of wealthy people including prostitutes and the government (of course I love being the slave of Magnificent AnnaS but that's besides the point).
