Rory eagles the 8th and goes to -1. 6 behind with 2 and half rounds to go. Its early days here, fellas have won from way back at the halfway stage.

Saw a great quote the other day from former player Peter Jacobsen " The slums of Chicago are filled with first round leaders of the Masters" Its shaping up to be a great weekend.

It looks wide open at the moment.

You would expect the leader to be over 11 under at end of day one under is big ask.

Some big names up at the top of the leaderboard, but McIlroy is moving in the wrong direction and wont be in the mix this year. Looking forward to this tonight.

Who would have thought he could make such a comeback. Couldn't make this up!

The comeback of all comebacks, a great place to do it too.

So after 11 years Tiger wins another major. Surely one of the greatest sporting comebacks of all time. The question now is can he move on from this and yet overtake Jack Nicklaus` all time record. The Golden Bear was 46 when he won the last of his 18 major titles so Woods still has time if his form and fitness continues as it is now.
    The Truth is out there.

I think he can overtake (don't know about will) Nicklaus, but only if Woods views any other Majors as a bonus and plays with less pressure on winning. You could see him struggling with the pressure in the final hole and if Koepka had forced a playoff, Tiger was dead meat!
