Ah good old Lemme, I blame all those article's going on and on about his longevity...taunting death like that,
U can imagine it now Lemmy and some big titted Valkrye playing chess by the fire with a 5th of whiskey each. mmm, it's probably not chess they're at tho
    May he rest in peace.

What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

Great musician and great band but in all fairness he was seventy. I mean nobody wants to see a seventy year old over the hill on stage. Great in their day though.

I was lucky enough to see Motörhead live once...

At least we know where Lemmy is now:

I watched Motörhead back in 2011, they were really great to see live.
Lemmy will be missed and is music will always still rock the world.

    Rip in Peace Lemmy!

Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister will be laid to rest at a private funeral in Los Angeles at 3pm LA time (11pm Irish time). So, have a few drinks and play his music loud.

Lemmy was a British citizen. Why did he not get a knighthood, unlike a lot of other rockers who had less influence on the genre than him?

Freddie Mercury didn't get one either. David Bowie refused his.

Part of the dubious 'honour' of receiving a knighthood involves, quite literally, bowing down to the establishment. I can't picture Lemmy doing that.

Lemmy Kilmister has been one of the most influential musicians of the last 35-40 years, but it will never be acknowledged by the critics or the industry because he played heavy rock music. When someone like Justin Bieber can have 4 songs in the top ten at the same time then it says a lot about the quality of modern popular music, and the lack of taste shown by the people who by it. Modern music is over for me, I've been looking back for a long time now, and I can't see that changing anytime soon. Anyway, why would I listen to Bieber, Ed Sheeran etc when I can listen to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Motörhead etc?

Beiber has some banging tunes out at minute though
