Yes I have been to the Christmas market, I advise staying away from it at the weekend as you can't move!

I went to my first parade this year, it was all good spirits, it was interesting to speak to people about what it meant to them and how it made them feel. The celebrations afterwards were all in good spirits too :-)

I love going out, I don't know many people in Belfast still so I don't go out to often drinking and dancing but its certainly a place you never feel alone :-)

Would you not prefer a night out in the Temple Bar, next time I am down?

Hasn't changed that much, especially during marching season. Especially when marchers don't get their own way.

No soldiers manning the gates to body search you before you go into town
No security rifling through your handbags (ok Frank not yours maybe) before entering every shop
People out drinking now and having fun.
Times were only me and my silly young friends used to run around Belfast at night
LOL we had the entire city to ourselves, everyone else stayed in doors, young, silly and full of fun

Belfast is Thriving and is so good to see
But still shut down to facilitate marches and fleg protests. But hopefully that will change sooner rather than later.
I do remember every shop having security at the door checking every bag, security turnstiles where you were searched before being allowed into the city centre, and yes , it is good that this is all gone, instead now you have a city which is by and large the racist capital of the uk apparently .
