Criminalising the clients has gone so well in Norway, that escorts only report if they will die according to the Amnesty International report. Great success there.

I watched the program and in fairness and it states from the onset that it was a report about organised crimes, involvement in prostitution. So it's not saying anything that most of us on here already knew, that has being evident lately by the proliferation of fake adverts.

Seemed a quite detailed and well research program, with my only criticism being the naming of certain girls who advertise here, which will only lead to a lot of negative publicity for the girls, but the pimps and minders can't be named!!

The guy suing the state for €35 k just goes to show how inept or unwilling the state is to deal with this. He hasn't being convicted, despite knowing about him 4 years now, joke!!

I do think it’s a shame E-I doesn’t do more to protect and look into the welfare of escorts. We’re only a directory, and it’s very difficult just isn’t a good enough excuse. Advertising sex for €50 is a disgrace and a red rag to everyone who wishes to see the new law introduced.
The biggest pimp in Ireland getting €85,000 in social welfare including €35,000 in back payments after he sued the state is a joke.

What is the point in introducing new laws when we can’t enforce the laws that already exist?
    So what did you think?
I thought the same as I did before the programme,no mention of the ladies working here of their own free will, nothing changed my opinion,if you read my opening post again you will see I never said the side of the industry they showed exists (only a fool would think that) I wanted to show that it is not all like that and we have ladies here who are happy and working of their free will and long may that continue.

What does it matter now as Minister had mind made up from the beginning and as we all know she's as thick as two short planks so no changing it. Its being introduced next year and will tie up all of Ireland. That was the whole idea anyway.
