Well there is a school of thought that there may be money being made through other means than advertising and actually that is just a small section of their income, so superfluous. We don't actually matter to them that much either. (allegedly)

The way I see it they are one and the same! EI's customers are Escorts — It is the escorts who pay EI for advertising on their site.

Your question is a bit like asking which is longer — 1000 millimetres or 1 metre?

The escorts who advertise here are dependent (to a reasonable degree) on the other users of this site for their livelyhood. However, the owners of the site have shown little regard to the punters. When one looks at the levels of problems that the new site still has after months of operation, not to mention a Chat Room where undertakings were given to update it from its present useless state and still nothing happens.
