Have you allowed 'System Restore' points on your PC?
Do you have Malwarebytes?

The bogus virus is a pain in the butt..
Look here : http://www.anvisoft.com/resources/in...how-to-remove/
and here

Basically you will need to download a removal tool, restart your pc in safe mode, run the removal tool and restart your pc.
To learn how to start in safe mode google "how to start my pc (Name brand here) in safe mode. e.g. "How to start my toshiba laptop in safe mode"

I don't think even system restore will sort this out. The removal tool works. I have done if for a few people. I know you wont believe me but I never had the virus on my own pc.

i pressed ctrl-alt-delete when the screen locked and it restarted and it came back on as normal (not locked). so now i am running anti virus scan (kaspersky), microsoft windows malicious software removal and i downloaded malwarebytes and am running a scan. the computer seems to be running fine. im just worried that the virus is still in the system somewhere and if i try to buy something on amazon they will steal my credit card details etc.
maybe im just being paranoid, because the laptop is working fine.
am, if i restore the computer to yesterday (virus hit today at around half 8) will it be ok.
