Oh the church's fault again is it? Idiotic statement. No church or sense of religious obligation ever forced me to remain faithful in my relationships.
Hundreds of Millions of people around the world with no faith whatsoever believe in monogamy and fidelity as a lifestyle choice, without coming under any religious pressure to do so.
And even for the vast majority of people who do believe in a higher power, their decision to remain faithful is based a lot more on love and respect for their partner than it is on their religion.
But I guess it makes some people feel better to justify their cheating by making out (in their own guilty minds) that they are casting off the oppressive yoke of organised religion.
