Yep, that's an unhealthy addiction you've got there. I would seriously seek help. It's affecting all aspects of your life.
Research some numbers, and talk to your gf.
Start small and reward yourself with something if you can go 2 or 3 hours, get out of the house, go to friends or family to distract you
