Refugees in Hungary..

Most of these “refugees” are “economic migrants” travelling to Europe for a “better life” not fleeing oppression as is often claimed. Europe cannot support everyone who wants to travel here for a better life. Try emigrating from Ireland to Australia, Canada or the United States and see how easy that is.

I am not defending Hungarian politics here or elsewhere -- I have NO love lost on that country .

I am calling it only as I see it .

I find it grossly unfair that this country is called to task for the very same policies and actions , that Western European

countries. and Govts. / powers employ no more than a week later !

That is my only point .

I cry no tears for you. War is war and all you can think of is peoples possessions? These people are fighting for their very lives. God forbid they disturb your little chocolate box views and litter your tourist streets with their dirty bodies and the bodies of their children. They have lived in fear for years whilst those you worry about do nothing except live off the fat of their land.
In WW2, Hungary expanded its borders and tried to back the right horse, fell in with facists and went full tilt right wing, its armies invading Russia Slovakia, and Yugoslavia .
Hungary has a dark history and many skeletons.
Indeed Hungary supplied weapons to Iraq and a high chance to one or both sides of Syria

So don't come crying, one day it could be you walking miles and miles only to be turned back as Hungary intend to do.

It's more the dead children as family's try to cross on boats not fit for purpose than the crying ones,2000-3000 euro to board a boat 300 then for a life jacket.

This is not simply young men looking for a better life,This is real people trying to save their lives. Mixed in the mess is the ISIS threat which brings fear and leads to panic,I don't envy the decisions governments have to make but we can't just sit back and do nothing.
