Win lose or draw that game against South Africa in the group stages, England were always going to progress to the Quarters. With 3 teams having potential World cup aspirations, it's not as clear cut this time.
England have to play like it's their final the next day. A lot of pressure, have England the cool heads to deal with it??

Correct, England were absolutely going to get out of the pool stage that year. But nobody expected England to make it all the way to the final and nearly win it. Especially after losing to SA in the pool match and so coming second meant a harder route to the final.
You are absolutely right, next Saturday is a live or die match for England. The Aussies will relish it, and the build up will be immense

Very true, but hardly anyone gives anyone a chance other than Newzealand

Good luck, I fear you're going to need it.

One question, would you go with Ford or Farrell?

Didn't actually see Ford against Fiji, Farrell was assured against Wales, with one key kick to touch missed. Would he have made "that" penalty? Who knows.
May be start with Ford and bring Farrell on after 60 mins. Ford's control of the game is more incisive, so that for me is the deciding factor.
    Now where's Wilko?

Nearly a week to recover again which is great, I've a question about backs!

-Rob Karney is a concern until tomorrow or so when he's going to be examined again

-Zebo was class, but he left camp for few days as his grandfather passed

-Tommy Bowe, yeah great form but shouldn't forget it was against Romania

-Earls brilliant game for him too

-Dave Karney was in great form too in last few games

Italy doesn't seems very dangerous without Parisse

Well I was wrong he might be fit for Ireland

I do believe Parisse has been passed fit for the game.
I still think we will be too strong for Italy but they will give us a good tough workout

I personally would play the same back line from sundays game against Italy. Give Rob Kearney a rest for the Italian game, Zebo will be back in camp this evening so hes good to go. Himself and Earls were our best players on against the Romanians. Cian healy had a great game and deserves the start and that kick, magical!!

Didn't see enough from Toner to make the first 15.

Center combination is going to be the hardest call. He needs to play henshaw, either with payne, cave or fitgerald!!

Even with Parisse back fully fit or not, we should have too much for the italians.
