Just read this thread through and I have to say..... Rach and Sophie, ye are being harsh.... Kate actually has put forward a valid point. Especially in this world of fakes and dodgy profiles, should the good and trusted be awarded a visible token, or what, on their profile...

I say no... It would be worse than the Trusted Reviewers badge. Who would be the judge of whether a profile should be awarded. "She has one, and I want one. I have more reviews and plenty of happy regulars... But ye, but no, but ye, but no.... "... t'would sound like Vicky Pollard...

EOTM is a definitive achievement... Trophy Escort is hard to police... Reviews already speak, surely

Everyone has aspirations to be a winner in whatever discipline they practice. It might take a few years but you might surprise yourself what you can do when you want to win.

Its divisive and meaningless given the context of the services provided. Its a "Never mind the quality, feel the width" prize. I can't think of another directory / forum that has it. Time to get rid.
With the changes in the law, having a high public profile on here as EOTM is a negative, attracting attention should be the last thing wanted by Escort or punter.

There seems to be a lot of kudos built up around this, with the achievement having been to have met a lot of clients in one month that review. This also means meeting a lot of new clients, as when you meet the same client again, they can still review you, but it does not add to your list. They also need to be someone who has reviewed quite a lot themselves, as they get a number score.

For me and the way I work, I rarely see more than 3 clients a day and working on the fact that maybe one in every ten clients will be a reviewer, then it's a chance I may get a review every 3 days if I was seeing all new clients.

Then take into consideration that most of the clients that I see are repeat bookings and most of those clients are not likely to review again this further diminishes chances of getting a review.

For me this is a double edged sword. I am perfectly happy with the way I work. I love seeing the same clients and having regulars and wouldn't have that any other way. I am also very happy with my average of 3 bookings in a working day. I recently met 6 in one day and pretty much had the day off the next day, as I was knackered! (I actually accepted one booking the next day), so didn't really do much different to 3 in a day when you look at it that way. Anyway, my point is...

Why is it all hemmed on seeing new people and high volume? Is there not an alternative way to show that someone is good at what they do? Maybe with this new star system it could be that after they have had a certain amount of reviews if they have 99% or higher they get a different coloured star to show their consistent, long term success?

Seeing as we're making changes and all, just thought it might be a nice idea to throw that out there

There are many of us working to a very high standard that never get any recognition, because we don't play the numbers game.

I'm not saying the EOTM of the month is rigged, but it can be manipulated. And I would agree there is no recognition for repeat customers and all the emphasis for EOTM is based on attracting new customers. But what can you do, there is no way a system where you allow numerous reviews would work. I think the whole thing would turn into a farse.

I think the solution would be that all contributing forum members that post a positive review would count for triple scores (6pts) and if you start a tread about how great your review is the points are taken away, and the review is moved the the Soap Opera section

I suspect the competition was initially a bit of fun. My, it's gotten quite serious now, with certain ladies anyway. I won it. Meh, makes no difference. I think most of our phones ring constantly, horny boys in Ireland. It's got nothing to do with running a good business, nothing to do with touting, girls have won it on ten reviews and girls have won it on 50. Just about being in the right place at the right time, or alternatively manipulating the score by seeing certain people at certain times, as has also been known around here. So in my opinion it's best ignored.
