Some lads have, to a foreign ear, "very funny "accents , so if a lady is used to Dublin accents she will have difficulties in Northern Ireland for instance .
Some of us are trying to avoid certain nationalities among guest due to bad experience or other reasons and some accents can be mistaken for a different regions if one s not used to it .
As suggested , just move on ....
