if your going to open a biz in Spain and actually employ people make sure you use a contracts for the staff as it is near impossible to fire or lay off staff,its so unionised like France

The best and worse contract it is so called "contrato indefinido", great for the employee, yet when it comes to fire that person, it costs the employer a fortune.
The other contracts are not that bad and one can get fired anytime, don't know why you think it is difficult.
