I do not know all the facts but I cannot accept that government, current and past, local and national, are completely blameless.

Other shops are operating as well in that area - Boyers, Pennys - and didn't close.
I would assume any government influence on the business environment effects every shop in the same way. So it becomes a level playing field in regards to "government interference".
