Therein lies your problem. We are all individuals,most with private lives. I would imagine some women go into sex work while with their partner, some meet their partner while working and others do lie because of the social stigma. And so we go on. Your question makes you sound as though you feel women in the sex industry have something to be ashamed of..why? You tend to fall in love with the person. Not their job.

I'm not saying it's a job to be ashamed of but it is one that's difficult for a partner to get past, more so than if the escort was in another profession like I.T, marketing, medicine for example. I do realise the insecurities of the partner are not the escort's problem but it is a reality. Falling in love with the person and not their job is all well and good, but love isn't a magical cure-all.
