As far as I can see, Paedophilia is an addiction that can never be cured. Paedophiles may be able to resist temptation for long periods of time but there will always be risk of 'falling off the wagon'. In some ways it is similar to alcoholism but if an alcoholic relapses, it does not have such a catastrophic effect on others. I think that the risk to children is always too great to ever let these people out of jail. I know that they have rights but I think that the rights of children to safety is more important.
