Why most New Years Resolutions fail anmd how to solve it.

Mostly New Years Resolutions are done by means of giving up something.Giving up fags,junk etc.The problem with this appraoch,just saying "i will give up eating junk" is that it means to achieve your aim ,means focusing on what you dont want.

When you focus on what you don’t want, you feel bad, because all bad feelings are caused by focusing on something you don’t want. And, because your mind takes what you focus on as an instruction to create or attract more of it, you’ll unconsciously attract or create more of what you think.

So what can a person do to avoid it?By beginning with the end in mind and working back.This is acheived by way of becoming more aware.By developing more self awareness.

This is dont by questioning oursleves.Most people know want they want to give up but never question why.Never ask "why do i want to give it up".So why?When that answer is given ,then focus on that.I always say that to say no means having a bigger yes.

The person who wants to give up fags to be healthier ,focus on that,being healthier.You'll attract what you focus on in this case health.The person wishing to loose weight to be in good shape or fit into last years jeans,focus on that.Focus on the reason why your giving up or changing for the New Year.Then you'll have a bigger yes.

It's not "I lost the race", never use the negative word. It's "I didn't win the race", use the positive word !
You're right of course Westie. I can remember living in America & having a manager who used these type of strategies to motivate people. He'd sit you down & find out what you wanted to do with the money / bonus & put a poster up beside your desk showing just that wish. I had a picture of Alaska, that's where I wanted to visit & do the whole wilderness thing. Some people had pictures of Ford Mustangs etc.
It's all about highlighting the rewards & not the pain.

And did u go to Alaska? it must be amazing. All nature.... We have been to Iceland and did some trips inside the country. We didnt see that kind of green color in any place else, or the blue lagoon, the big lake all hot, we spend there 5 hours inside the water

Yeah, I did the Alaska thing & it was the best trip of my life. I camped in the wilderness & saw bears in the wild, wolves & caribou. Summer time of course. Very Northern Exposure, if you ever saw that, brilliant !
I want to go back & see the northern lights some day.

Iceland is somewhere I'd love to see. But then again they are bankrupt at the moment.

I think lots of people get caught up in the whole feel good factor at Christmas & approaching the New Year when it comes to NY resolutions but we are creatures of habit & like me sometimes its so hard to kick habits like Visiting Escorts!
