Gary Burris-- Executed by lethal injection in 1997, almost 20 years after shooting an Indianapolis cab driver. While in prison, he confessed to another inmate that he had held the victim down while he pleaded for his life.
Not on a tombstone I know but funny nevertheless.

Christopher Scott Emmett -- Executed by lethal injection in 2008, Emmett was convicted of murder for fatally beating his co-worker with a brass lamp.
Also not on a tombstone...
