It's amazing how many guys have a shower & don't lift armpits to wash under them or wash around their balls, so no I don't think escorts are being fussy. Many guys have a shower & come out smelling exactly the same as they did before they went in it. I've also had guys tell me that they don't need a shower, they had that morning & one guy even telling me he was clean, he'd showered yesterday.
