From what I read and know from experience the true dommes on this site do enjoy inflicting some pain on their subs. There are escorts who advertise domination but only do so to tick a box and it is these lady's whom the purist will know is only doing it for the fee. Make no mistake it all revolves around the fee but a lady who specialises in domination will get a certain kick out of having men grovel at her feet while she does what she wishes with them.
None of these pro-dommes would actually beat an innocent civilian against his will, that is just brutal but they will beat a willing participant to his limits.

Being beaten till my ass bleeds may look brutal and self destructive but I disagree, what do you think of boxers, MMA fighters all who endure pain and give out pain for enjoyment but being true sports men would never lift a finger to anyone else only if in self defence. This example has been used before by myself and others but take a long distance runner, they will run and run until their body aches, they puke and come close to exhaustion, but they push on, they push their bodies and when they achieve their goal they are euphoric and they will do it all again only maybe pushing for a better time or longer distance next time.
The people who train 5-7 days a week in the gym are of a similar mindset, they push themselves and it relieves stresses and makes them feel good.

Whipping is the one thing that really pushes me, it is hard and it is brutal (but only as hard as my Mistress decides and she uses her judgement and skill to deliver such a whipping, each whipping is different to each client, some of the strokes she give some clients would be like a playful prod for me while some of the strokes I get would be like torture to others) but it is escapism and it is mentally stimulating. I can see why you may think it is extreme and that I may need help but that is only looking at things from your side. There are many on this site like me who get pushed to extreme if not worse but they are maybe not as vocal for fear of being judged or else they just couldn't be bothered. They're is a massive market for "extreme" BDSM so I'm not alone in this world.
