    dude dont be panicking yet who knows what will happen if the law gets passed here and what type of escorting trade remains.
    will the gardai be bothered to actively chase punters or will they act on complaints etc

    some fellas here would be useless at poker

    I wouldn`t hold out much hope for that not happening. Austerity as a policy hasn`t worked, German economy is stalled, so a weaker Euro will help their exports, so looks as if more Euros will be printed by the ECB. When Ireland, Spain, Greece and Portugal are in trouble no way the "independent" European central Bank can do that, but when it`s one of the big boys ....... All Heil Angela

    I am not even slightly worried mate,the scene might change but the oldest profession in the world will remain.

    I have yet to see Garda not going for the handy arrest to boost their figures, and this new law will be money for old rope for them.

    Ah now, let's not bring nationality into it. I've no problem with a common market, which is what we all signed up to. I've a huge problem with this red tape ridden, over zealous and over paid behomoth that the EU has become. It's a huge mistake and the single currency is just one of the symptoms of the rot. Sooner we all accept that and move on the better.
