Would be laughable , except they're going around murdering any and all who disagree with them.


Every country at some point or another has had a discussion on the extent of , and limits to freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech in US also extends to the freedom to burn The Flag. Think on that . Cartoon , flag.

Free speech extends so far in fact , that it's only limited to prohibiting yelling Fire in a crowded theatre ,

or if it is deemed that a person is intent to encite violence , he/she may be prevented from giving a speech.

US govt's power extends to having the authority to take someone into (temporary) custody , if it's felt that the person's

mere presence at an event may cause havoc. (NeoNazi rallies etc. , hate speech , rally to violence , etc. )

There ARE , and there SHOULD BE limits on free speech (imo) in all societies , but the caveat should be on benefiting the majority.


Free speech should never be silenced by terror or by threat of terror , may that threat be from terrorists , or govt.

Isis with beheadings and crucifictions in Iraq-Syria , Al-Shabaab in Somalia , Al-Qaeda , Jemaah Islamiyah in Indonesia ...

What do all these groups have in common ? Their stated goal to eradicate all non believers , their commitment

to violence , their continued horror of terror attacks.

Remember the terrorist siege in Mumbai in 2008 , lasting 3 days , killing near 200 (??) ? was carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba .

How about the not so long ago Westgate Mall attack in Kenya , carried out by Al-Shabaab ?

All this due to .... ?

If their freedom of speech is expressed so , then by all means do limit it !!

What is the answer to that ? I don’t know really, some ideas maybe.

Cut off or at least try to impede their funding.
Pressure on regional political and religious leaders.
Attempt to appeal to communities that harbour and give shelter.
Focused and incentivised regional economic policy.
Improved counter intelligence and surveillance.
Improved communication and information sharing in the west.
Time, patience and acceptance that a lot more innocence will be lost.

I just hope somebody knows all the answers.

"Anonymous" , an international hacker community , apparently has declared 'war' on these terrorist organisations ,

wowing to interrupt and destroy their social media outlets , their funding networks , banking connections.
