What does seem to reduce and perhaps eliminate "trafficking" and more importantly coercion, is decriminalisation as in the New Zealand model. But the NZ model has never, AFAIK, been considered by the politicians here in N Ireland—and probably not in the Republic either.

From my experiences visiting escorts an common sense. If u hand on heart say that all these ladies with little English working for 50 – 60 euros / half hr an deciding off there own bat to make places like ballina the start of there tour then fine. We are in complete disagreement an thats just that.

There are clubs where many girls working being escorts they become friends ... later one girl go in Ireland and start working and talk on facebook with her friend from Spain and tell her how nice are guys here and work is more relaxed u stay home not on the heels all night long. then of course her friend show her interest to come in ireland if its better... but she dont speak english.. then her friend say : no problem u are my friend i will help u because i speak english i can answer at your phone if u want and in time u will learn english. This sound like friend is her boss? , .No... she just help her. If i go in Germany to my other escort friend i dont speak german if she will help me answering for me at phone this not make her my pimp. I dont agree. I was sharing an apartment during my touring with a beautiful young girl who was working with 60 half an hr and sometimes 50. I was suprised to see how beautiful she is and how low fee she have and i asked her why she charge 60 insted of a more decent rate. She just said : because at 70 my phone not ringing. Plane and simple. And she was independent.
