You can always sell it on adverts.ie for slightly cheaper than face value, if you don't need it!

Quite a large number of them are never used at all, and others only partially used. They have an expiry sate.

Thats a good idea. Someone gives you a gift card for an escort, and you give it to her and have sex.
Have you purchased sex ? or not..After all you were just using up a gift card.
