    Hello Tom ,

Let me ask you this :

Why do you think that buying (expensive or otherwise) art , and helping others is mutually exclusive ??

: I buy art (some expensive) , and also have a yearly budget for charitable donations. Los Angeles Mission (services

and shelter for the homeless of LA) , The Heart Association , SPCA >> my decades long beneficiaries .

If I didn't spend money on art , would I spend that money on helping others ? Nope. : I already have a

    generous yearly budget
    for philanthropic endeavors.

Appreciating and (sometimes) buying art is my personal pleasure.

Should I deprive myself of something that enriches my soul ??? Why the heck should I ???

    I don't understand your stance.

*my spending of course is not anywhere near in the neighborhood of 6.5mil lol , but it's all relative , isn't it ?
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

As I said , it's all relative : that guy spent 6.5mil. To some it's a lot of money. To some others , unthinkable even.

I am sure to that person it was (similarly to my budgeting ,) earmarked for personal enrichment / or investment !!

How do you feel about people buying property as investment ? Or gold ? Art appreciates much more than either of those.

: To a poor man , spending two euros on a reproduction print is senseless and extravagant , yet you yourself

(I think it was you ?) said that you'd buy the 2e print. So much could be done with that money !!

    It's all relative.

Remember a few years ago that was a Chinese girl operating in Dublin and she was charging €400 and hour and there was absolutely no negotiation and if you queried the fee she just put the phone down just wondering how she's doing today?

    Hi stephanie
all we know about this person is they bought the picture for 6.5 million
that,s where i have the problem
and yes it was me that said i would be happy with a 2 euro reprint
and in my opinion there is a big differents between 2 euro in a poor man's pocket and 6.5 in another one's
i don't think its all relative
i think we might be not under standing each other
    but anyway
thats all i want to say
    Thanks
