If the guards chose to do some sort of "sting" operation, then the advertisement would probably be from some lady that appeared new. Established ladies will have trusted clients and also have trust built up with their clients.

Not sure overall but it looks like a fine is the punishment, doubtful its worth the hassle of a court appearance or anything more serious than that - unless it was with a trafficked woman, or worse, if you knowingly visited a trafficked woman.

I think in general for the established ladies on here who are independent and escort by choice, the guards will have little interest in them or their clients. But who knows, doubtless they will choose to make examples of people at times....

Can I ask why you quoted my response with the above

I responded to someone who said it might be tough on new ladies (Building up a client base etc)
I know the new law wont differentiate between new or existing ladies (Never hinted that it would)
Maybe live up to your username and scrutinize before quoting me and saying I/we have it all wrong ?

I just cant help feeling it's really rather sad that this is where our parliament is that bringing out these laws to control what we do to this extent and don't they have other things more importantly to do

Just to who are these guys and who's paying their wages its US

This Bill is bound to become law, it has too much momentum behind it from too many groups, church, press, politicians, feminist groups etc and no group large enough to stand up against it. Those sex workers, and their advocates, who have publicly opposed it have been ignored clearly giving away, if anything does, that this bill is not designed to protect sex workers, it is designed to eliminate them.

While we all realise that the passing of this Bill will, in reality, mean very little to the majority of us unless we are caught in one of the initial raids that will occur after the Bill has been passed, after that the policing of the Bill will be as dependent on Garda resources as everything else is, it doesn't mean it can be ignored.

We can choose to only visit ladies we know and carry on as discretely and privately as we did before but it doesn't mean we can ignore what this Bill will do.

This Bill will make life more dangerous for many of the ladies working here while doing little or nothing to help those it was supposed to help, just look at any proper research into the consequences of the Swedish model in other countries.

We can try to play it down and pretend we'll go on as before but for a lot of ladies working here things could get a lot worse.

I punt in England and do mostly out calls and glad to see it was rejected over here for the time being anyhow.
Ireland, I found was very expensive compare to over here but still a lot of great ladies in Ireland and do feel sorry for the new ladies as it just won't work for them, even the established escorts will find it difficult as this new Bill will indeed change everything.

I'm just wondering how far the guards would go if they caught someone. Would they check their phones/computers or even reviews ?
