the reason why this case is up and running is because the other lad was found not guilty. if they both had been found guilty evans would still be in jail and definietly wouldnt have a chance of appeal. the juries verdicts were inconsistent with each other and that is unconsciously giving rise to the whole debacle.
the jury really opened up a can of worms.

There seems to be a misconception here that he is trying to appeal the conviction, this is not the case he has already been refused leave to appeal. What he is doing is having his case looked at by a review group to see if it would warrant being
considered as a miscarriage of justice. His chances of success here are very very slim as only 3% of all cases reviewed are
ever taken further

Oh my .. this is getting better and better.
The lady walks in the hotel, willing and eating pizza.
The receptionist gave Evans a key to a room which is not his.
The lady didn't report the rape.
Evans was convicted as rapist and he is due to get out of prison.
Did anyone find the lady's handbag?
When did she get that drunk to not be able to give consent to have sex with Evans?

They weren't inconsistent. The first guy met the female in a pizza shop and she willingly went back to the hotel with him. He texted Evans to say he had a bird. Evans then persuaded the receptionist to give him a key to the room, and when he had finished he exited the hotel via the fire escape. Not exactly glorious behaviour on the part of the first male but consent inferred due to the fact she was on CCTV willingly going back to the taxi to collect food and walking unaided back in, alone.

I would agree with that except she accused both men of raping her. One was found not guilty and while the other was not.
That is why there is a big media debate. Two men are accused. One is found not guilty, the other is. Given the circumstances and every case differs on circumstances, it is obvious there is inconsistencies.
I am not schooled in law, but i think the judge should have instructed (if possible) to find them both guilty or both not guilty. Or else she should only have accused ched evans. the fact that she accuses them both of the same crime and one is let go and the other isnt, doesnt make sense and hence why the big debate.
This is being debated on forums across the Uk and Ireland for this reason. If they had both being found guilty we would not be discussing it.
Thats the inconsistency.

Your twisting things. Purposely or not. She never said both men raped her. She wanted the first guy charged also, because she blamed him for allowing the rape to happen. In fairness there's a few people in the wrong, even the hotel. But don't forget that she got raped, by Evans. She never entered any room with him.
A different judge would've also charged the friend for texting him as an accomplice, but he got away with that because the Evans guy got a key at reception. So therefore, the first guy didn't actually let him into the room. That's why the first guy got off with it.
