Telling us what to do and what not to do????

What about the contribution that these marvellous ladies and laddies do throughout the length and breadth of the country to keep us horny guy satisfied and to keep some dangerous guys away from doing things to girls they shouldn't do???

Escort do a fantastic job in handling our stress and sex for ages and it strikes me that it is almost certain that certain guys will not be able to deal with their urges like mature grown-up people that they should be and the inevitable will happen and they will have affairs at parties and do things in pubs and bars that they shouldn't do that might otherwise have been avoided if they had a 30 minute quickie with their local escort???

What harm is the current system doing to anybody?
The Minister will care very little where the Escorts go, this is only a small community and probably most of the population of Ireland would be in favour of the introduction of the Bill, like Northern Ireland, Its a trafficking Bill, a poor one at that but FG must be soon to be doing something when in power and there is added pressure from other areas to bring in some sort of legalisation.
No amount of talk is going to change this, its a done deal already.

Yes she has, she is pretending to be listening to all sides but introducing this Bill was always on her agenda once she took office.
At least with Shatter there was a little hope but with this one, sadly there is none.

In Canada they took the government to the Supreme Court because the law was considered unconstitutional on the grounds that it violated sex workers right to "security and safety". The introduction of the Swedish Model in Canada will probably mean another constitutional challenge will take place, but it's difficult to do as there isn't years of evidence to back it up like the old laws.

It's going to be in the new sexual offenses act to basically say the same thing and enforce laws which are already place. My lawyer friends say that we have a really good trafficking law in this country.

so the industry fucked basically and pimps will take over sure lump in prostitution with their drugs ? its nerve racking enough now but if it was illegal and all the stuff being brought in court and all your friends and family knowing just wouldn't be worth it and now if an escort is attacked you can't report it for fear of being arrested ,sad france and the uk seem to have a brain and have laws in protect people but we have complete retards here who want escorts to be attacked and give pimps the power to do what they want, like an escort was killled in sweden recently and crime has INCREASED are they fucking stupid or something,so basically its ok for pimps to take over and create more murder and crime thats great ,well the blood is going to be on her hands if she causes this

    Laws already exist to punish,
    Pimps
    Brothel keepers
    Traffickers
    Advertisers of prostitution activities
Sex with under age people (paid for or not)
Knowingly renting premises for the purpose of prostitiution
    Sex with trafficked people
Soliciting for sex in public places, both sex worker and clients
Voilence and rape of sex workers are punishable by laws that cover every body.

So what the hell do they need new laws for?
so irish NGO elites can look good when they go to international conferences
To offer a fig leaf that shows that "we are doing something"
And little else as far as I can see.

Yes that's the key word Enforce, as I say it would have been different if Northern Ireland had to have rejected it, both governments are way too close on too many silly issues for my liking.
