I find the Foo Fighters a bit generic. They aren't bad and I don't deny that Grohl is a talented musician who can play many instruments, but they are not a band that I would pay to see live or anything. Sorry guys!

It's finally out, Foo Fighters new album was released at midnight and it's awesome! I had it on preorder so I've been drip-fed a song a week for the last 4 weeks and each one just got better and better. Anyone else hear it yet or watch the TV show they've produced to coincide with the release ? The whole concept of the recording of the album and production of the show's pretty interesting.

I've heard a couple of songs and they really sounded good so i have to get a copy. I think their brilliant i have all their previous albums but i haven't got to see them live yet something i must do.

US group Foo Fighters are to play at Slane Castle next summer.
Frontman Dave Grohl revealed today the rockers will play on May 30th.
“Slane Castle, May 30th, 2015,” the former Nirvana drummer said in an surprise announcement during an interview on the Rick O’Shea Show on RTÉ 2fm. “I’m saying that in my radio voice. Does that sound official?”
Slane Castle owner Lord Henry Mountcharles yesterday confirmed the Foo Fighters show. “Particularly after a difficult illness and no show at Slane this year, I wanted an act which reflected Slane’s rock’n’roll roots."
