looking for advice on attending a social function with an escort

One point that has come up in this thread that I noticed is that if there is an age difference or language issue people will assume the lady is an escort!

Is this just the people on here being paranoid? Would people who know nothing about this world or who do not participate in it really jump to the assumption that the lady is an escort?

Let's face it - Ireland is no longer a country of only Irish people - we have become a multi national country and it is the norm now to meet people from all over the world in every day life.

I was once asked strangely enough by an escort who was in my car at the time "what would your friends think if they see you with escorts in your car?" My answer was - "how on earth would they know you were an escort?" She had to agree when I put it like that.

I am not saying that the idea of people jumping to the conclusion that the lady is an escort if she looks to good to be true should be completely dismissed but if the two people appear compatible then I doubt many people would actually jump to this conclusion.

Don't forget, many people who have never met an escort have a stereotypical image of what one might look like - and I doubt that stereotypical image would match most of the lovely ladies on here judging by what I have seen in the media recently.

Not sure that I would want to put a poor escort into a difficult situation like that, as it may be uncomfortable ( and kinda unfair ? ) to her ?? Having said that though, there are some escorts who would be assertive, clever and confident enough to handle a prickly situation with an ex-wife. Indeed, some may even see this as a tempting 'challenge' LOL ....( although at a premium rate, to cover 'danger money' . Who am I thinking of ....Rachel, Claudia23 ( who could handle any situation !!) ....that's my input anyway !!

I didn't think I was digging a hole - all I was referring to was there were a number of reports in the media recently depicting escorts in a negative light. Most people who have never met an escort may be swayed by this negative image that they have received from the media. From my point of view this media inspired image is nothing like what the majority of escorts are like - classy, intelligent and independent!

My thoughts ?......l would go there on my own because ..1. l would imagine that you'll have other friends both male & Female there to socalise with and am sure they'd be delighted to see you there.......2. it wont lead to any awkward situations the may arise during the night as people start to have a few drinks .....3....Just by being yourself you'll be more at ease of mind and relaxed more.....4....when it's over ,then give the Escort a buzz if you want to and finish off the night in style............but l certainly would'nt feel in any way that l'd need to have female company just to prove anything to an Ex......sincerely hope you have a great time .....

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of bringing an escort to a social function in 2 weeks time. My ex wife is gong to be at it with her new partner. she is a nasty piece of work and I'm not looking to get back with her. I'm not seeing anyone at the moment but don't want to turn up on my own. Any advice from someone that has tried this wud be greatly appreciated. Advice from an escorts experience appreciated too.

There's another possibility... There's also a very, VERY slim chance that when you attend this function with your escort for the night that she will recognise someone there who is also a client of hers. Obviously, the other person won't mention it but I'd be slightly worried if I saw a guy going bright red when you introduce your escort friend to him

There is a third option: Don't go at all. If it's not an event that you absolutely have to go to, visit an escort instead. You will solve two problems at once.

Your next best option is to go alone. I've gone to weddings alone before, it isn't as bad as you think. Leave early.

The option of bringing an escort is probably the least ideal one. It needs very careful preparation, even if the lady and you know each other well enough to carry conversations in a group. Families are dangerous, too many questions.
