so you are in me club

I've adopted my dog as a running company, now it appeared unfortunately he's got arthritis and cannot make even 3 miles, when we did easy 6 before. So now walking with him and running on treadmill at home. Cycling: road cycling now and then, but I am big fan of spinning. Extreme, as usual me LOL

    Running and cycling.

I'm sick of marathon training, so when I am done it is back to getting down to 20 minute 5k and spending sunny days like today exploring Dublin and surrounding counties on bike.

Strength training is fun too, but is not pure cardio.

I'm training for the marathon myself and yeah, I'm sick of running at this stage as well

The Zombie Run app is great if you want to make running more entertaining as I often find it quite boring!

I like to get in 40 - 45 minutes on a treadmill or elliptical trainer before starting my workout. Just as a warm up.

    Hate running outside though.

There is a fitness app, so I decided to use it.
I walked for 2km, ran 5km, and did by normal walking about during the day.
It told me I'm not doing enough.

    How much is enough?
It depends on how detailed App is. In general it will take your height, weight, age and gender and do some broad calculations based on the stats to identify your situation. From this it will suggest your burn more calories or not. Some are more sophisticated and use heart rate monitors and other measurements including your resting/sleeping heart rate. But the general free ones are likely to use the common stats for BMI etc

Usually about 2 hours total. 45 Mins Cardio, 15 mins stretching at the beginning and end and around an hour on the weights.

That'll explain why I'm always knackered then.
