    Sure it's a perfect weapon for wiping out large number of people , for paralysing a community / society !

    Even to destroy a country's economy ?

    Already Spain's hotel and tourist industry taking a hit , based on this incident.

    If there was Ebola in a country , would you take your holiday there ?

    What happened to it?
    Plague of Biblical proportions?
    Meat eaters all doomed?
    The cows were slaughtered ?

    Hardly an option with humans ?

    There are some glaring inaccuracies in your post , but I will leave you to inform yourself better xx
    That reads as extremly patronising. Is your source better than his source? Your posts seem to be a little sensationlist, Ebola at this time has not been weaponised, and is unlikely to be by boko haram, or any other rebel group. Ebola has been on thr go for a long time now and it has only killed around 3000 people Three planes in america killed more in one day. Ebola has to be put in perspective, It is a virus that cannot be cured, but the symptoms can be treated.

    This thread is about a current fatal human illness , which a fellow poster likened to Mad Cow disease.

    We are hardly discussing death camps ;

    though you might be onto something if contagion not controlled by traditional methods.

    I have not read the whole thread but it strikes me that the west has failed to deal with this till it hits Europe/ USA, there are predictions of up to 1 million dying over in Africa and desperate scences in sierra leon and yet not much happened, are those deaths less significant, but now that it is here you may be sure it will get attention but it is going to be a challenge, the virus is mutating as they always do and airports like heathrow are where it is going to get a good chance of spreading so Ireland is at risk, MSF have been screaming for months about it but no traction till now, the simple fact is fight there or fight it here. as to comparisions to mad cow disease perhaps the 3400 already dead and the estimated 20,000 in mortal danger I think draws clear ground between this and Mad cow disease, if anything the Media did not hit this story hard enough IMO. alo we have flu season inbound now just to complicate things even further
