Ha Ha, nice try, Paisley was the reason the troubles escalated so quickly and brutaly. The terror group I was refering to was ulster resistance which armed and provided information to loyalist paramilitaries. Whdo you need to know where I am from? Does my location invalidate my right to have an opinion. And what has the latelate show and the IRA have to do do with the blessed relief of Big Ians death. The same Ian who was thrown out of the party he started, and the church he started, and stabbed in the back by his "followers" from both.

The quality of troll has fallen very badly of late.

And just as he had goaded me into answering him, Dellamorte musings disappeared.
He mustn't have read my more considered thoughts in post 6 on this thread.

So, why did I post this. This is the general chat forum, and the death of mr paisley was the most significant thing to happen today and a a topic of general conversation. So I assumed that discussing him might be of interest to people here.
Ian Paisley, to me, was a maligent person, a bully, a showboater, a man of hate, a man without respect, A hypocrite, a destructive force, a subvertor of the word of Jesus and many other things. Sadly some people loved him for all that.

Political issues are raised on this 'escort' forum all the time. And I wasn't rejoicing in the mans death.

Let the big man be, why do people get a kick out of insulting and making caustic accusations about a dead man,
Was the purpose of this thread to insult the man.
Catholics and protestants all suffered but why all the hate here.
I thought we moved on from this but seems not. Raking up the past for what?
If you got nothing good to say why say anything at all, let it be and move on

Seriously? Firstly, This is a forum, a place to put forward an opinion, regardless if others agree with it or not.Secondly, Telling the truth about him is not an insult, it insures that while some might think his death is a time for respect, it is not forgotten that he had no respect for those people , living and dead, who did not agree with his position.

Its not about insulting a dead man , its about telling the truth , the man was a bigot and because of his words/actions many young men that shared his faith /belief ended up either dead or in prison , and many other families suffered untold heartbreak because hatred - so no we wont brush him under the carpet and say oh hes dead let him rest in peace , lets tell the truth

And BTW this was my opinion of him when he was alive

I'm a protestant, a DUP Supporter, Paisley has done alot for us and he had a big mouth but that was Ian but did alot of good in the community which is never seen. If you needed help you got it.
The man is dead, you didnt like him for whatever reason fair enough but don't start insulting a dead man on a public forum, just bad taste that really

Where was the insult, he was a sectarian bigot who incited violence against catholics, Should the truth be forgotten so that you can glorify him. Bad taste is trying to rewrite history.
