I'm not sure if I've ever truly been 'popular', as this word implies also being 'liked' by people around you or in your greater social circles.

I can certainly say that I've been a 'known' person in the past among some groups of folks-- probably 'liked' by some, and definitely disliked by others!

I suppose I've always tried to be 'myself', whatever that means... I like to think of myself as honest and straight-forward, and I try to be kind, tolerant and understanding towards others. I'm not completely sure that's how others see me, perhaps some of my friends do. I'll say that I've certainly managed to make my share of enemies (luckily NOT here on the boards

), as I will brazenly and directly express my grievances and my views on things I perceive as 'injustices', be they big or small. And I assure you, there are MANY THINGS I feel that constitute an 'injustice' in this world, and in this country...
